The Beretta M93R is a weapon in the Resident Evil 2 prototype.
The handgun takes up one block of inventory space. It uses 9mm Parabellum Bullets, which can be reloaded into the gun manually by combining the two together. It can also be reloaded automatically by the character if the player has bullets in their inventory after emptying the clip.
The handgun has burst action, firing 3 bullets per shot. It damages enemies more than the Browning HP at the cost of more ammunition. Crows will die with one direct shot, while other enemies have a higher resistance.
The origin of the gun is unknown.
- The gun is based on the Beretta 93R.
- The M93R was cut from the retail version of Resident Evil 2, but was later reused as Claire Redfield's handgun in Resident Evil CODE:Veronica.
